When is Eurovision?

Eurovision Asia 2026 will take place on 14 November in Bangkok, Thailand.

The contest will consist of a single stage — the Grand Final, featuring representatives from 11 countries.

How does voting work?

The organisers have not yet announced the detailed voting rules for the Eurovision Asia 2026 Grand Final.

At the European Eurovision Song Contest, the results are determined by votes from professional juries and viewers. Each country awards points to its ten highest-ranked songs using the following scale: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12.

However, it is not yet known whether this system will be fully adopted for Eurovision Asia.

A different system was used in the Eurovision Asia 2026 national selections: 40% of the result was determined by a professional jury, 40% by viewers from the country holding the selection, and 20% by viewers from the rest of the world.

The voting rules for the Grand Final will be announced at a later date.

How do countries select their songs?

There are two main selection methods:

- National selection — a competition is held to choose the country's representative or their song.

- Internal selection — the national broadcaster selects the artist and/or song directly.

In 2026, the participating countries used national selections, including formats where the public voted for a song performed by an already selected artist.
