In 2024, Switzerland won the contest, becoming the leader of the jury vote. A year later, it once again became one of the jury favourites, finishing second, but received no televote points.

In an interview, Veronika said that the song is about violence against women, and that its title character never gets a chance to say anything: the story is told entirely from someone else’s perspective.

For Bulgaria, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the staging and choreography are directed by Fredrik Rydman, who previously directed Sweden in 2015 (“Heroes”, 1st place), Finland in 2023 (“Cha Cha Cha”, 2nd place), and Switzerland in 2024 (“The Code”, 1st place).
