Song
Mother Nature
Fans have noted the influence of singer Aurora and Birdy’s song “Keeping Your Head Up” on the song.
Among the song’s co-writers is Thomas Stengaard, a co-writer of “Only Teardrops,” the song with which Denmark won Eurovision in 2013.
Kill J, who has previously written many other Eurovision songs, is a co-writer on this year’s entries for the United Kingdom, Luxembourg, and San Marino.
Mother Nature
| From the start | |
| When all was fun and games | |
| Wasn't hard | |
| But all good things can end | |
| Back when I was younger | |
| I planted a seed under the moonlight | |
| And even when there's thunder | |
| I go back when I wonder, "Who am I?" | |
| From the ground to my skin | |
| As I'm howling at the wind | |
| Dig my roots in the mud | |
| And I lean my head back | |
| Let it out, let it in | |
| Letting go of all my sins | |
| Dig my roots in the mud | |
| And I lean my head back | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| I know that | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| Mother Nature, shе knows | |
| See the leaves | |
| How thеy grow back again | |
| And I heal | |
| Then learn to love myself again | |
| Even when there's thunder | |
| Oh, I don't have to wonder, "Who am I?" | |
| From the ground to my skin | |
| As I'm howling at the wind | |
| Dig my roots, in the mud | |
| And I lean my head back | |
| Let it out, let it in | |
| Letting go off all my sins | |
| Dig my roots in the mud | |
| And I lean my head back | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| I know that | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| Mother Nature, she knows | |
| Oh, oh, oh… | |
| (Mother Nature, she knows) | |
| Mhm, Mother Nature, she knows | |
